This Privacy Policy explains how EMC Partnership, Inc., doing business as ATLAS Empowered (“ATLAS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you visit atlasempowered.org or contact us through the website.

If you contact us or use our inquiry form, you may provide your name, email address, organization or venue, area of interest, message, and any other information you choose to include. If you ask about a role, we may also receive employment-related information you send by email.
• Technical information. Our hosting provider may automatically process standard request and device information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, requested pages, approximate location derived from your IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic or security data.

The website inquiry form sends your entries to a same-site validation endpoint and then opens your email application so you can send the message to us. The endpoint does not save the form entries in an ATLAS application database.

How we use information

We use information to:

• respond to inquiries and communicate with you;
• evaluate partnership, volunteer, event, and employment interest;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
• prevent misuse, fraud, or security threats; and
• comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

Cookies and analytics

We do not currently use advertising pixels, behavioral tracking, or analytics cookies on this website. Our hosting provider may still process standard technical information needed to deliver, protect, and diagnose the site. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choices required by law.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or rent contact lists. We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:

• service providers that support our website and communications, such as Vercel for hosting and Google Workspace for email;
• professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, and security;
• a successor or involved party in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business; or
• another party when you direct us or give us permission.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including to manage our communications, meet legal or recordkeeping duties, resolve disputes, and protect the website. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why we hold it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
