We don’t hire leaders. We build them.
We are looking for people who want to get good at something hard. Everyone at Atlas learns the craft in the open: public speaking, coaching, reading campaign numbers, running a market. Training happens every morning and mentorship happens all day. The ones who put in the work earn real responsibility, up to opening our next city. The people who run this office started at the table.
We call that person a Professional Fundraiser.
The standard
What is a Professional Fundraiser?
Not a volunteer with a clipboard, and not a salesperson. A Professional Fundraiser is a trained, W2 representative of a named charity who meets supporters in person and treats the work as a craft.
Presence
You speak for a named charity, in person, to people you’ve never met. You get good by practising out loud, every morning.
Respect
Honest, pressure-free conversations. A supporter who says yes should still be glad they did long after.
Numbers
You read and run your own campaign numbers. Your results are on the record, and results get rewarded.
Coachability
A workshop every morning, then coaching beside experienced leaders. You take it, use it, and pass it on.
The work
What you do
- Represent our charity partner’s monthly giving program at community events and retail locations
- Meet supporters in person, on a two-person team
- Train every morning in the office before you head out
- Read and run your own campaign numbers
- Hold honest, pressure-free conversations on behalf of the cause
- Coach the person behind you as you grow
You start at the table. The people who run this office did too.

How pay works
Every week
A weekly base.
Your base is there every week. It is where your week starts, not where it ends.
On top
Performance pay.
Bonuses when you welcome a new monthly supporter, and again when that supporter stays on.
We walk you through exactly how each is earned at the interview, and the terms are put in writing before you start.
Atlas Empowered is a Nashville fundraising firm. You raise monthly support for a named charity, face to face. CARE is our current partner.
What you learn here travels: communication, leadership, running your own numbers. Every step up is on published standards.
You'll have
- W2 employment with the firm. Not a contractor, not a gig.
- A weekly base plus performance pay, with terms in writing before you start.
- Training every morning and mentorship all day.
- A ladder with published standards. Promotion is earned, never tenure.
- No cash handling. Enrollment is set up directly with the charity’s systems.
- Hiring that never costs you anything.
